8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and (A)overtook Zedekiah in the [a]plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 9 Then they captured the king and (B)brought him up to the king of Babylon at (C)Riblah in the land of (D)Hamath, and he [b]passed sentence on him. 10 The king of Babylon (E)slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also slaughtered all the [c]princes of Judah in Riblah.
